But he was undone in Cardiff as Rob Cross hit a Big Fish to eliminate himCredit: RexThe Iceman’s shop, aptly named Chippy 501, was opened last year in his hometown of Markham in South Wales.
He went behind the scenes with Sky Sports Darts presenter Polly James.
Price was seen wearing a grey shirt with black gloves for the occasion as he prepared an order ahead of his home Premier League outing.
Ironically, Price was eliminated by Rob Cross in a thrilling quarter-final with the deciding leg being a Big Fish.
The 40-year-old has returned to form this year after admitting he was distracted by the shop last year when he went on a horror run.
Speaking about the shop in December, he said: “That’s probably why I was losing and playing rubbish — my mind was elsewhere.
“I’m glad now it’s up and running rather than me having to worry about it too much.
“The cafe was rubbish in the end and is being leased out as a dog-grooming salon, but Chippy 501 is doing well. It wasn’t just about opening it.

“I’ve got cameras in the shop and I was always checking them on my phone. Yeah, it can affect the oche. I’m eating fish and chips all the time. I set up a 10 per cent discount for myself.”
The ace previously ran a cafe in his hometown of Markham, providing delicious treats and hot beverages to locals.
However, Price shut it down at the end of 2023 after struggling for business.
The cafe is set to be turned into a flat, while he transformed a nearby former pharmacy into his fish and chip shop.
Price kept supporters updated on the refurbishment as he posted several snaps on Instagram Stories.
This year he has reached the final of the Bahrain Darts Masters and semi-final of the Dutch Darts Masters.
He also won Players Championship 2 this year in Wigan to land his first win in the tournament since 2023.
