– The game took enough nerve cells, but all’s well that ends well. Your match summary?
– We previously talked with the guys that two things are expected of us globally: the result and the game, that is, how we get this result. In my opinion, we are obliged to move towards obtaining results for those people who come to support us, for the management and for ourselves. I’m talking about the result and the quality of the game. I think we got the result in the match, I’m grateful to the boys for coming on after the break. They mentioned the minimums we are talking about, maybe not for a long time, but for some time already. I’m very happy that it worked and when the opponent tried to change the situation, we were able to hold on. Even if the game had ended differently, we would have won 5-0, but we would have scored once, so I would still be unhappy because we scored once. There will be many questions about the game, we will draw conclusions about the game. We can also thank “Veres” for the fact that they created a context for us to study. While we are in the process of building what we want, such information will also be important to us.
– The educational context that “Veres” gave in the first half. The opposing team was established, how surprised were you?
– It’s not called the “Polish derby” for nothing. I assume that they came here to measure themselves in “packs”, so I’m glad that despite these difficulties, we still defended our territory. It was difficult, you saw that there were episodes due to which we had to make forced substitutions. The boys literally left a part of themselves on the field. I’m glad it was worth it because we got the result. And we will continue the game in the direction we want.
– Have you seen the reaction to the conceded goal from your team, how satisfied or dissatisfied are you with it?
– Of course, we didn’t want to concede a goal. Not to say that we didn’t expect it, because we always say that everything can go according to our scenario or not. We conceded a goal, then there were many individual actions, I understand, which were aimed at improving the result. Unfortunately, not every individual action can lead to this. At the moment of receiving a blow, you need to stand on your feet, understand why it happened and how it can be overcome. There were enough questions in the first half, we talked about them at half-time, hopefully we were able to give the momentum that turned into a game that was from the 3rd minute of the second half. Not a perfect game, but, in my opinion, a decent one. We were able to turn the tide of the game, create chances, the win is great, but can we carry on with the momentum? Absolutely not, we still have a lot of things to improve. We previously said that it would take time. The time was already more or less determined, but one should not forget about the opposition of the opponent, which will never go anywhere.
– The match seemed very traumatic. Serhii Chobotenko suffered a visually terrible injury, and at the end of the match, Smolyakov was also injured. What about Serhii and Artyom?
– Serhiy had a dissection, let’s see how serious it will be. They did all the necessary manipulations, it seems that everything is stable. Artyom injured his nose, now we will do in-depth research to understand how serious everything is. I repeat: we left a part of ourselves on the field, I’m glad that we end this day with a positive result. It takes some time to draw conclusions about injuries, because now there is preliminary information, which may not correspond to reality later.

– I think that Sasha is definitely closer to the national team, whether the national team will be closer – we’ll see. I am very happy for him, it is important that in such situations the boys show their individuality not only from the point of view of some technical qualities, but also from the point of view of character, desire, stability and will. It is very nice to see and the fact that, for example, Sasha translates it into a result that can be calculated – it’s great! But we must give credit that in the second half the absolute majority of players were different, this also helps Sasha to be the best version of himself and to get such results for himself individually and for the team.
