On January 14, the Ukrainian team performed in the single mixed relay at the fifth stage of the IBU Cup in Brezno-Osrbl (Slovakia).
The national team of Ukraine was represented in the race Nadia Belkina and Oleksandr Ponomarenko.
After the second firing line, Ukraine fell below the middle of the protocol, and it was not possible to improve the situation.
With one penalty circle earned by Belkina and 13 used spare cartridges, the Ukrainian national team finished 17th.
A similar failure in singlemix already happened at the IBU Cup this season: then Ukraine was 16th.
Athletes from Sweden finished first. They were joined on the podium by Finns and Italians.
