In his address, AiyvaN shared his memories of the Monte Gen journey and his thoughts on the future:

“I will always remember Monte Gen as my favorite project. The first five months after the selection did not go as expected, and there were reasons for this. One of the main problems is the almost complete lack of invitations to tournaments. Despite this, we still participated in several competitions where we reached the finals or even won.”

Ivan recalled a difficult period in Monte Gen when most teams progressed and they stood still:

“It was sad to see how other academy teams had 3-4 tournaments on HLTV every month and steadily progressed, while we just stood still, despite our greater potential. We also faced uncertainty during this period: it wasn’t clear if Gizmy and Ryu would return from the main roster, so we had to test new players. That’s how we found fnl, who we later signed to replace n0te after the core players returned.”

Semenets thanked those who supported him along the way: the organization, his wife, friends and colleagues, and also praised the young player Leen, emphasizing his potential for any team.

We will remind you that the Monte Ukrainian club has officially completed the squad for 2025, promoting Jack “Gizmy” von Sprekelsen and Gitis “ryu” Glushauskas from the Monte Gen youth team.
