He played the NBA. Star Italian completed an international career

The 37-year-old Italian forward Danilo Galinari officially reported that he had completed his speeches for the national team. It happened after the defeat in the 1/8 finals of the European Championship-2025 from Slovenia (77:84).

“We are in reliable hands. The younger players are much ripe, and it will be interesting to watch them on TV, ”Galinari said the Italian media after the match.

After playing with the Slovenians, a farewell ceremony with the international team was held at the site. Galinari received a memorial plate from President Fiba Europe Horge Harbakhos.

Galinari participated in three European Championships (2011, 2015, 2025), World Cup (2019) and Olympic Games (2020).

At the club level, Danilo Galinari continues to protect the team from Puerto Rico-Vacheros de Baymon. At one time, Galinari spent 14 seasons at the NBA.
