German Cup without Hamburg. Penalty: the last quarter-finalist is determined

Holstein from the city of Kiel made it to the quarterfinals German Cup 2025/26.

On December 3, the team lost in a penalty shootout Hamburg in the away match of the round of 16 at the Volkparkstadion arena.

Second Bundesliga side Holstein became the last German Cup quarter-finalists, joining Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern Munich, Stuttgart, Hertha, Freiburg, St. Pauli and RB Leipzig.

The draw for the 1/4 final stage of the German Cup will take place on December 7, and the matches will be played from February 3 to 11, 2026.
