In this match, FNATIC will perform under the Ukrainian flag. This is due to the fact that the team now has three players from Ukraine: Rodion “Fear” Smyk, Dmitry “Jambo” Semer and the new stand Edward “Zerrofix” Petrovsky. According to the HLTV rules, if at least three representatives in a team from one country, the team is officially considered a representative of that country.
The format of the tournament this year has changed: first eight teams (four of the open qualifications and four more with the lowest VRS rating) will play the starting stage. They will then join eight more teams, and eight strongest will be identified in the BO3 format. They will form the main mesh in Double Elimination format.
