Van Percy joined the Dutch club “Exelsior” at the age of five, but later, due to conflict with the coaching staff, he left the team and moved to the Faugaerda, for which he made his debut at the age of 17. According to the results of the 2001/02 season, Robin was recognized as the best player of the Netherlands Championship.
After successful speeches at home, the striker became interested in the London Arsenal, which Van Percy joined on May 17, 2004. Despite the fact that in the Figayerdi Robin played in the positions of the left winger, he acted as a “canon” as a forward. The Debut of the Dutch for the new team took place in the match for the Super Cup of England against Manchester United (3: 1).
Initially, Robin was not a player of Arsenal’s starting composition. The situation changed in the 2005/06 season, when the Dutch match was marked by effective actions. The next season, Van Percy was a serious injury that has failed him for some time.
The weak side of the Dutch was the right leg, which he used mostly to run. Realizing this, Robin worked on this drawback and played at a completely different level. Already in the 2008/09 season, Van Percy became the best scorer of “Canonors”, scoring 20 goals.
The next two years were accompanied by a constant injury for the Dutch striker, but Robin successfully recovered and returned to a high level.
On August 16, 2011, Robin became a captain of Arsenal. Experts believe that he became the first serious leader of “canon” after Frenchman Patrick Vieira.
According to the results of the 2011/12 season, Van Percy won the “Golden Booth” of the APL, scoring 30 goals in the championship and 37 – in total in all tournaments.
The next challenge in the Netherlands’s career was the transition to another English club – Manchester United. The contract was officially signed on August 15, 2012, and the transfer amount amounted to 22.5 million pounds.
Robin’s debut for the Red Devils took place on August 20 against Everton. The first goal for the “Mu” Van Percy scored five days later at the golham goal. In his first season with the new team, the Dutch striker became the champion of England and in total was distinguished by 30 goals in all tournaments.
Despite the fact that the Red Devils at the beginning of the 2013/14 campaign won the Super Bowl of England, and Robin made a double in that duel, the season was not too successful for him: only 12 goals in 21 Prime League match.
The next season (2014/15) was even worse for the attacker: 10 goals for the entire Premier League draw. Van Percy finally lost the trust of the then trainer of “Mu” Louis Van Gala, which was why he was forced to change the club.
In the summer of 2015, the Dutchman became a player of the Turkish Fenerbahche, which spent two and a half years. In the winter of 2018, he returned to his native Fairy, where he completed his professional career as a player.
On the international arena for the Netherlands national team, Robin spent 102 matches, scored 50 goals and gave 20 assistants. Especially the audience remembered his famous goal head at the Spain’s goal at the 2014 World Cup.
In a club career, Van Percy participated in 595 matches, scoring 274 scored balls, 94 productive gears and winning 7 trophies:
