Former defender of the national team of Ukraine Artem Fedetskyi explained why he does not officially announce the end of his professional career. The football player believes that he has something to be proud of.
“Some fashion has left football players, professionals. He plays for a certain period of his career, and then he says: “I hang my boots on a nail.” Somehow it sounds so moronic, I don’t really like it.
I have to announce the end of my career, like don’t bother me, I went in a different direction. This is somehow wrong. I played, I had a great football career, I played for the national team of Ukraine at a high level. I don’t think I should announce it officially,” Fedetsky said.
Artem Fedetsky played for Dnipro, Carpathians and Shakhtar. He won the UEFA Cup as part of the Miners. The football player also played a lot of matches as part of the national team of Ukraine.
