In the final part Eurobasket-2025 24 teams, determined by the results of qualification. According to the results of the draw, 24 teams will be divided into 4 groups of 6 teams.
The highest sowing was won by Serbia (2nd place in the world ranking), Germany (World Champion 2023), France (Vice-Champion of the Olympic Games 2024), Spain (winner of the Eurobasket operating).
This year’s tournament will be a debut for Cyprus. In addition, Latvia, Iceland, Portugal and Sweden return to the continental championship after a break. The national team of Ukraine failed to pass the qualifying round of the Eurobasket and does not play in the final part.
The Eurobasket-2025 will be held from August 27 to September 14. The group stage matches will host 4 cities. Group A will play in Riga (Latvia), group B – in Tampere (Finland), group C – in Limassol (Cyprus), group D – in Katowice (Poland). The final part of the competition will be held in the Latvian capital.
Four co-organizers have chosen a partner country to be placed in the same group. The agreements were reached between Latvia and Estonia, Finland and Lithuania, Cyprus and Greece, as well as Poland and Iceland.
