Didn’t live up to expectations? The EPL club is going to fire the coach

English “West Ham” may remain without a head coach – Julen Lopetegui has lost the trust of management due to unsatisfactory results and will be fired in the near future. The last straw was the defeat against “Leicester” (1:3) in the match of the 14th round of the English Premier League.

The club is no longer going to test the patience of the fans and is negotiating with Lopetegui to terminate his contract. It is reported that the coach does not want to leave “West Ham” and is confident that the situation can be corrected, but the chances of the mentor to stay at the head of the team are estimated to be minimal.

The management is unhappy that more than £100m was spent on transfers in the summer of 2024, but it did nothing to improve the club’s results. Increasingly, West Ham fans are chanting the slogan “You’ll be fired tomorrow” at Lopetegui in the stadium.

Julen Lopetegui took charge of West Ham on May 23, 2024. In the current EPL season, the club under his leadership scored 15 points and is in 14th place in the tournament table.
