The first six Canadian national team players are named after the Olympic Games of 2026 in Italy.
As expected, there was a place of Sidney Crossby in the previous list. Most likely, it will be the last team for the player, which at the time of OI-2026 will be 38 years old.
Crossby was a team captain at the recent tournament of four nations and at the World Cup.
The list is expected to be Connor McDevid, Nathan McKinnon and Kale Makar.
