This was reported by the influential British promoter Frank Warren: “At first he planned to fight Miller. However, Derek refused. That’s exactly what he said – I received a message from him.”
Chisora is expected to fight fellow countryman Dillian Whyte (31-4, 21 KOs), who he has fought twice before. In 2016, Derek defeated his opponent by points (SD 12), and two years later he knocked out (KO 10).
The Queensberry Promotions show will take place on December 13 in Manchester (England).
Chisora last entered the ring in February, when he defeated the Swede Otto Wallin by unanimous decision in a difficult but spectacular match.
White had one fight in 2025 – in August he was knocked out in the first round by compatriot Moses Itauma. Prior to this loss, Dillian was riding a three-game winning streak.
