Chaos after Turan. Stepanenko’s team got its third coach in six months

Last season’s sensational Turkish Super League debutant Eyupspor, which finished in sixth place and lost its head coach Arda Turana to Shakhtar in the summer, is going through a difficult period this season, occupying 17th place in the tournament table.

The team, for which Ukrainian veteran Taras Stepanenko plays, has changed its head coach for the third time in the last six months.

After Arda Turan, Selchuk Sahin was announced as the coach of Eyupspor, but at the beginning of October, Orhan Ak was approved as the coach of the first team instead, who was also not destined to last long.

Today, Eyupspor officially announced that Atila Gerin, a 57-year-old specialist who previously worked as an assistant at Turan, Sahin and Ak, became the team’s new head coach.

We will remind, today it became known that “Eyupspor” was strengthened by “Dynamo” winger Angel Torres, who was taken by the Turks on loan.
