Boyko successfully passed the 1st round of UK Championship qualification, Kazakov was eliminated

Ukrainian snooker player Julian Boyko won the match of the 1st qualifying round of the tournament 2024 UK Championship.

Qualification takes place on November 16-21 in Leicester, England, and the main part of the tournament will take place from November 23 to December 1 in the English city of York.

Ukrainians Yulian Boyko and Anton Kazakov got the right to play in the tournament thanks to a high rating among players who do not have a license for the pro tour.

The first opponent of 19-year-old Julian Boyka was Bulchu Revesa 17-year-old snooker player from Hungary. The Ukrainian won with a score of 6:3 and advanced to the second round of qualification, where he will play against Ashley Carty from England.

Ukrainian Anton Kazakov In the first round of qualification, he suffered a crushing defeat Amir Sarkhosh from Iran with a score of 1:6.

The top 16 snooker players in the world won direct tickets to the 1/16 finals, from this stage the main part of the tournament in York will begin. The opponents of the rating favorites will be determined in the qualification in Leicester.
