The final match of the World Youth Hockey Championship took place in Canada. In the game between the USA and Finland, the victory was won by the USA U-20 team, which won 4:3 in overtime.

At the same time, the Finns led 3:1 during the meeting, but missed two pucks at the end of the third period and allowed the opponent to make a comeback. The third 20-minute period passed without goals, and in overtime the Americans were stronger.

The USA will win the title for the second year in a row and become champions for the first time in history, while the European team has not won gold since 2019.
