Midfielder “Real” Jude Bellingham commented on his gesture after scoring a goal in the match against Monaco.
The Madrid club won a convincing victory (6:1) within the 7th round of the general stage of the Champions League. Having scored in the 80th minute, Bellingham imitated drinking from a glass during the celebration.
This was in response to recent claims by Spanish blogger AuronPlay that the English footballer allegedly has a drinking problem.
“A lot of different information sounds around. You can react to such things either with tears or laughter. With my gesture, I gave an answer to the public. I know the truth,” emphasized the midfielder.
