– Artem, how are you doing in the Czech Republic?

– Indeed, the minimum goal is the third place, which, like the second, gives the right to compete for entry into the higher division through the playoffs. In the offseason, a number of football players will come to us, so I believe that in the second part of the season we will only be stronger.
– Will it be difficult to eliminate the gap of 11 points from the leader “Brno”?
– We look at the competitor. There were cases when not such a backlog was eliminated. Besides, we still have a game in reserve. “Brno” spent the autumn part of the championship well, but we believe in our abilities and will at least try to catch up with the leader. But again, the end result is important, and that is getting into the top league.
– You have been performing in the Czech Republic for almost a year now. How do you like the level of the second division?
– Here the teams plus or minus are of the same level. The championship is unpredictable, where a team from the bottom of the standings can take points away from the leaders. Such rivalry only adds to the interest of these competitions. The teams are well prepared physically, but at the same time many try to act in combination. I like it here.
Another thing is that everything is not working out for me yet as I wanted. I only scored one goal and provided a couple of assists. That’s why I try to work at the maximum at the meetings in order to make up for lost performance in the spring.
– Do you, as usual, act strictly on the edge?
– In principle, yes. Although in defense, I sit in my half of the field, helping my partners. In the Czech Republic, the attackers take on the defenders more in order to give the opportunity to score, for example, to ten, attacking and extreme midfielders.
– Does the teacher support you?
– Of course, for which I am grateful to him. But I’m not a young man, I understand myself that it is necessary to improve performance. I believe that the not-quite-successful streak will end sooner or later.
– Does your contract expire at the end of the season?
– Absolutely true. In January 2025, we signed a six-month agreement, and then the contract was extended for another year.
– The main topic of my call is information in the Czech press that “Artis Brno” has decided to stop cooperation with you and grant you the status of a free agent. Is this true?
