As a result, Muzychuk completed the tournament in the first place, scoring 16.5 points in 10 rounds. She won two classic parties (for which 3 points were granted), 8 more completed a draw, with 5 of these 8 confrontations won in Armagedon (1.5 points were counted against 1.0). Anna became the only participant who has not been defeated in the tournament.
The key to the 9th round in which the Ukrainian won Jui WenzunHaving obtained the maximum 3 points. On the same day, the Indian chess player Hampy Konra, gave way to Lei Tinzze. This allowed Muzychuk to reach the leaders before the final round. In the final round, Anna played with Indian Vaishal Ramshbab, winning another 1.5 points with victory in Armagedon. This was enough for an overall triumph (16.5 points).
The second place was taken by Lei Tinzze (16 points), which won three parties, but because of the defeat of Muzychuk finished second. The third was Humppi Konra of India with 15 points. Jui Wenzun completed the tournament in the fourth position with 13.5 points.
Muzychuk won in March at the female Grand Prix in Nicosia, and in April rose to 7th place in the world rating of Fide.
In the men’s tournament won Magnus Carlsn from Norway (16 points), ahead of Fabian Karuan from the United States (15.5) and Gukesh Dommaraj from India (14.5).
