Age is not an obstacle. The 50-year-old gymnast became the second at the Cup Cup stage

The Tashkent has the Cup Cup of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG). In the support jump, the second result was shown by gymnast from Uzbekistan Oksana Chusovitin.

Oksana Chusovitin June 19 celebrated the anniversary. The gymnast from Uzbekistan turned 50 years old. And the silver medal at the Cup Cup stage became a great gift.

For her performances in the Chusovitin’s reference she received 13,275 points. The first place with the result of 13.450 was taken by the Bulgarian gymnast Valentin Georgiev, who is younger than Chusovitin for 32 years.

Oksana Chusovitina, for her long career, performed for the USSR, Germany and Uzbekistan. The athlete is the only gymnast in the world that has participated in eight summer Olympiads.

The athlete plans to participate in OI-2028 in Los Angeles. At that time, Chusovitin will be 53 years old.
