Ukrainian tennis player Diana Yastremska (WTA 39) won the starting match at the WTA Down tournament in Hamburg, Germany.
In the first round, a Ukrainian in two sets beat the German Yul Nimayer (WTA 184) in 1 hour and 29 minutes.

The competition in Hamburg for Dayana was the first after Wimbledon-2025, where she reached the 1/16 finals and was defeated by Jessica Buzas Manairo.
