In the 9th month of the war, not a single soldier could survive the thought of depriving the shares of more than 13,000 individuals and legal entities – shareholders of Ukrnafta, the businessman believes.

The entrepreneur spoke about the “expropriation” of Ukrnafta and Ukrtatnafta during an interview with UNIAN. According to him, immediately after the transfer of Ukrnafta’s shares to the ownership of the Ministry of Defense and the appointment of Serhiy Koretsky as the company’s director, Ukrnafta signed a contract with the legal company of the then Minister of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov “Asters” for almost 120 million hryvnias without holding a competition.

“It is worth saying that the transfer of Ukrnafta and Ukrtatnafta shares to the state was not a decision of the military command. The military command was forced to do this due to the illegal decision of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief,” said Kolomoiskyi.

The businessman emphasized that, according to the law “On the transfer, forced alienation or seizure of property in the conditions of the legal regime of war or state of emergency”, the Stavka is not authorized to make such decisions.

Kolomoisky believes that in the 9th month of the war, no soldier could have thought of depriving the shares of more than 13,000 individuals and legal entities, the shareholders of Ukrnafta. He added that in May of last year, already after taking control of Ukrnafta, Reznikov said about this during an address to the Cabinet of Ministers:

“The Ministry of Defense, in a letter signed by him, recognized that the implementation of the functions of managing corporate rights of the state in economic companies, which are not typical for the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces, is a significant challenge for it, which diverts limited human resources and time. Therefore, the Ministry of Defense proposed to the Cabinet of Ministers to transfer the shares of Ukrnafta and Ukrtatnafta to Department of the Ministry of Energy”.

According to the businessman, “the content of this letter proves the fact that the military command had no grounds and necessary functions and was not interested in alienating the shares of Ukrnafta, having control over it, but acted in the interests of other interested parties who banally used martial law and its a special regime in order to illegally deprive the shareholders of Ukrnafta and Ukrtatnafta of their ownership rights to their shares”.

“The letter of the Ministry of Defense appeared on the basis of the appeal of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, in which Zaluzhny reasoned and asked to deprive the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of control of these shares. But Reznikov did not have a particular desire to sign the letter at that time, because immediately after the shares were transferred to the ownership of the Ministry of Defense and the appointment of Koretsky, Ukrnaft without holding a tender signed a contract with Reznikov’s Asters legal company for almost 120 million hryvnias,” the interviewee said.

In his opinion, “a good corruption tandem” turned out.
