Advisor Red Bull in Formula-1 called his successor. He wants Vettel

Helmut Marko’s Red Bull Advisor called Sebastian Vettel with his “ideal successor” in his post. The Austrian, who played a key role in the formation of stars such as Max Ferstapppen, Carlos Sainz and Daniel Riccardo, does not hide what is thinking about the transfer of powers.

I think he would be the perfect candidate for a successor, – said Marco.

It is clear that at some point you will no longer be able to do it, not least because of age. Travels take a lot of strength.

Vettel, who completed his career at the end of 2022, since then appeared in Paddok only, focusing on environmental initiatives. However, he began to actively manifest himself in the vehicle recently: in particular, he visited Saudi Arabia, where he organized an event to support women in karting.

It would be great if a guy like Sebastian took this role, ”Marco added.

He already works with girls in karting, and also has excellent strategic thinking, which makes him an ideal candidate for work with both juniors and with the main team.

Marco is convinced that Vettel will not take a long time to adapt:

I don’t think he needs a year. These are two races – and it already keeps everything under control. This is a new approach, and I think Sebastian finally found himself. He knows what he wants to do. Yes, it has a forest in Austria, hunting grounds – but all this can be combined.

According to Marco, the key is the love of a motor vehicle that has never disappeared in Vettel. They worked together throughout the German career in Formula-1, which reached the apogea with four championship titles in Red Bull. And now it’s time for a new stage of this cooperation – already outside of cockpit.
