A real captain. For the second time in a row, the underling made it to the flower ceremony

On January 11, the pursuit race among men at the fourth stage of the World Cup was held in the German city of Oberhof.

Three biathletes represented the national team of Ukraine in pursuit.

Despite the unsuccessful first race in Oberhof, representatives of the Norwegian team showed themselves from the best side in the pursuit. The first finisher was Sturla Legrade, who missed twice on the shooting range. The trio included other Norwegians, the Bø brothers. Tarjei became the second, Johannes – the third.

The captain of the national team of Ukraine, Dmytro Pidruchny, got to the flower ceremony for the second time in a row at the fourth stage. The athlete went to the penalty circle three times in the pursuit race, but Dmytro managed to take the sixth place.

21-year-old Ukrainian Vitaly Mandzyn closed the top twenty, while Taras Lesyuk was in 37th position.
