A day-long match. Kichenok and Kostyuk reached the 1/8 finals of the WTA tournament

Ukrainian tennis players Lyudmila Kichenok and Marta Kostyuk reached the 1/8 finals of the WTA 1000 tournament in Beijing in doubles.

In the 1/16 finals, the blue-yellow tandem beat the duo of the Czech Kateryna Siniakova and the American Taylor Townsend.

It is interesting that the match between Kichenok and Kostyuk lasted almost a day. The fact is that the game started in the afternoon on September 29, but due to weather conditions, the meeting was postponed after tiebreaks in the second set.
