A crushing victory at home. Polissya catches up with Balta in the Super League

On January 31, the opening matches of the 8th round of the Women’s Superleague in volleyball among women’s teams took place. In one of the matches, they met “Forested” Zhytomyr and “Halychanka ZUNU” from Ternopil.

In the home arena, “Polyssia” confidently started the match, defeating the opponents in the first game with a score of 25:14. The following sets were more equal, but without real competition for the owners of the court.

Thanks to this victory, the team from Zhytomyr was one step away from the second place in the standings, which is currently held by Balta from Odesa. A victory in tomorrow’s match guarantees the intermediate second place for the Zhytomyr team.

The most productive player of the match was Yana Zhuravlyova from Polissia, who scored 11 points.
