Before Cardinal Robert Prevost was elected as the new Pope, Catholic cardinals reportedly consulted the 2024 film ‘Conclave’ ahead of the conclave to find Pope Francis’ successor. According to Politico, a number of cardinals who are a part of the ongoing conclave that began Wednesday in Rome watched ‘Conclave’ as a, quote, “helpful research tool” to learn more about the process of selecting a new pope.
