‘When a Witness Recants’ director and producer Dawn Porter, along with film subjects Ransom Watkins, Andrew Stewart and Alfred Chestnut stopped by THR’s Studio at Park City to talk about their gripping documentary that revisits the case of three falsely convicted teens, examining the system that railroaded them. Porter tells THR how she wanted to make a documentary that allowed people to understand the challenges they faced and everything that the subjects had gone through.
