Zelensky added that the details of the work of the military ombudsman should be formed with the participation of the military, so a corresponding survey will be conducted on the “Army+” platform.

On December 30, Zelenskyi signed a decree on the appointment of Olga Reshetylova (Kobylinska) as the representative of the President of Ukraine on the protection of the rights of military personnel and their family members.
In April 2024, the press service of the Ministry of Defense reported that the institution of a military ombudsman was introduced in Ukraine, which will be responsible for protecting the rights of servicemen and their family members. The corresponding decision was made on April 3 at the constituent meeting on the protection of the rights of military personnel.
