On September 30, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. The selection of brigades was considered at it, the head of state said in a new video message.

According to Zelenskyi, two issues were considered during the Stavka:

  • the first is the staffing of teams;
  • the second – weapons and equipment for military personnel, procurement and supply.

“Even today, we had a separate discussion with the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Umyerov (Rustem Umyerov – editor.) execution of contracts and how institutions work in the system of the Ministry of Defense. All real reform steps must be fully implemented,” Zelenskyi said.

The president also noted that he spoke “in detail and for a very long time” with the head of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi and the chief of the General Staff Anatoly Bargylevych – “the conversation lasted more than two and a half hours.”

“Reports on each of our front lines, our future opportunities and specific tasks. A very difficult situation. The most important thing is to put pressure on Russia by all means, all tools, in order to achieve our goal as soon as possible – a real and just peace for Ukraine, for all our people,” Zelensky emphasized.

Zelenskyy held a preliminary meeting of the Stavka on September 20: it was about energy, the production of missiles, drones and EW.
