Zelensky told about the tasks that the new government Sviridenko has to accomplish

The Head of State said this during a speech at the plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada, which provides the President’s website.

“The updated government of Ukraine should audit all agreements, agreements, memorandums with partners in the field of defense, defense production, and all sustainability programs, to fulfill agreements for one hundred percent in the interests of Ukraine. There will be new agreements with the United States, which will strengthen the position of Ukraine and for which we need a change in diplomatic work.

According to the President, it is necessary to guarantee Ukrainian soldiers “confidence in providing defense forces, and for this we increase, in particular, the internal economic potential of Ukraine.”

In his opinion, it is impossible without three things.

“The first is the maximum deregulation, the elimination of any bureaucratic obstacles, unnecessary to the state institutions, whose functions are simply duplicated. The second is the maximum liberation of Ukraine’s social forces and attracting the potential of partners for economic growth in Ukraine. The third is the fairness, that is, largely, more, more and more. Zelensky.

The head of state is convinced that the renewal of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and in general the system of Ukrainian authorities will ensure these tasks.

Zelensky expressed gratitude to Yulia Sviridenko for the effective work of support for Ukrainian production and Ukrainian entrepreneurship.

“This experience of Julia’s work for the sake of our Ukrainian sustainability and our economic growth should be continued and scaled as a key task of the Ukrainian government,” the President added.

The head of state expects that the Government Step will be presented as soon as possible and will be implemented in daily mode. “Every day it has to bring the result to Ukraine,” Zelensky emphasized.

The President also reported that Ukraine’s defense and security forces will continue to receive all the necessary resources to protect our country, to protect our people.

“We will intensify the negotiation direction for the fair end of the war and guarantee real security for Ukraine,” the President said.

As Zelensky emphasized, Ukraine needs more its own power.

“We will transform the management of the defense and weapons production in such a way that in half a year it is significantly increasing the share of Ukrainian weapons available to our soldiers. Now, about 40 % of all weapons in our soldiers are made in Ukraine. There should be at least 50 % in half a year,” the President said.

The appointment of Yulia Sviridenko to the post of prime ministerAs reported by UNIAN, today, July 17, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported the appointment of Yulia Sviridenko for the post of Prime Minister. 262 people’s deputies voted for the appropriate decision.

Zelensky also signed a decree on the appointment of Olga Stefanishina with a special authorized President of Ukraine for the development of cooperation with the United States of America. All proper approval procedures for Washington Stefanyshyn’s nomination for the post of Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States are ongoing.
