“He congratulated on the victory in June 1 and wished success. We expect Poland to remain our reliable partner and ally,” Zelensky said on Telegram, stressed that the conversation was good.

The Ukrainian leader added that in Ukraine they appreciate all the support provided by Poland from the very beginning of a full -scale war: military, political and humanitarian.

“This night, Russia has struck another massive blow to Ukraine. Informed about the consequences of this shelling and the situation at the front. It is very important for us to continue to help Ukraine. We protect not only ourselves, but all our Europe, and in particular Poland,” Zelensky said.

According to him, they discussed key events that will take place in the coming months. “We have agreed on the exchange of visits, during which we will discuss all the current issues of bilateral cooperation. We will definitely identify the formats of interaction, which will give a real result for our countries, our people,” Zelensky emphasized.

The Head of State thanked the Polish colleague for their willingness to work together and assurance of further support of Ukraine.

Navrotsky became President of Poland – the latest newsAs reported by UNIAN, earlier Navrotsky asked Zelensky to carry out a large -scale exhumation of victims of the Volyn tragedy. According to Navrotsky, this is necessary for Poland and Ukraine to “reconcile” and “through truth.”

Navrotsky seeks to meet Zelensky, because according to the newly elected President of Poland, his country and Ukraine have differences. In June, Navrotsky stated that he is currently against Ukraine’s accession to the European Union.

Navrotsky won the presidential election from his competitor mayor of Warsaw Rafala Taskovsky with a result of 50.89% against 49.11%. Earlier, Navrotsky was the director of the Institute of National Memory of Poland.
