New sanctions are aimed at blocking Russia’s resources, protection of human rights in the occupied territories and counteracting Russian propaganda.

According to the website of the President of Ukraine, the head of state Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed three decrees on the entry into force of decisions of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
In particular, sanctions were applied against six propagandists, including Alexander Rogers, who publicly denied the existence of Ukraine, called for changes in the boundaries of the territory and state border of Ukraine, spread anti -Ukrainian publications and justified the armed aggression of Russia against Ukraine, and Russian public figure Kateryna Mizulin.
In addition, Ukraine applied for sanctions against 11 public and political figures of Moldova, who promote pro -Russian narratives and justify Russia’s aggression. Among them, Basil pain, which promotes the foreign policy of the Russian Federation in the media, and Dmitry Konstantinov, who heads the People’s Assembly of Gagauzia and openly repeats theses of Russian propaganda. This solution is an important signal to support the people of Moldova on his path to European integration.
At the same time, the third sanction decision applies to 66 individuals and 13 legal entities, including officials of the occupation authorities in the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea, representatives of the judiciary of the Russian Federation, who are involved in human rights violations in Crimea, persons related to the spread of Russian propaganda, as well as organizations.
Thus, this list included, in particular, Valentina Lavryk – the so -called Minister of Education, Science and Youth of the Temporarily Occupied Crimea, which introduces Russian educational standards and militarizes the educational process, as well as judges Vasyl Zlotnikov and Denis Izenko, who adopted repressive sentences.
“These decisions are synchronized with the policy of international partners and aimed at blocking Russia’s resources, protecting human rights in the occupied territories and counteracting Russian propaganda,” the statement reads.
Sanctions as a pressure tool on the Russian FederationAs reported by UNIAN, Zelensky urges the West countries to think more about Ukraine rather than future relations with Russia. Because every day of delaying with harsh measures against the Russian Federation, and talking, who will impose on the Russians, many lives of our citizens are worth it.
On September 10, Ukraine applied for sanctions against those who assist the Russian MIC, the shadow fleet and the energy sector.
