This is stated in the decree of the head of state No. 408/2025 of June 13. “To appoint Hetmanchuk Alyona Anatoliivna head of the mission of Ukraine at NATO,” the decree reads.
The mission of Ukraine with NATO is located in Brussels.
Natalia Galibarenko dismissed another decree No. 407/2025.
It is known that Hetmanchuk is the founder and director of the New Europe Center, a freelance senior analytics of the Atlantic Council (USA).
She is an experienced foreign policy expert and media and public projects.
In 2009, she became a co -founder of the Institute of World Policy, which she managed for 8 years. Since 2016, Alona has been a member of the Advisory Committee of Presidents of Ukraine and Poland.
Ukraine and NATOGalibarenko was the head of the mission of Ukraine with NATO since July 30, 2021.
The Summit of NATO Member States will take place in the Hague (Netherlands) on June 24-25. Zelensky is invited to this summit, but Ukraine expects the Member States of the Alliance to prepare strong and specific decisions to strengthen Ukraine’s defense forces.
