People’s Deputy Victoria Grib told how it was possible to go through winter without blackouts / photos facebook.com/victoriagryb.publicThe coordinated work of the Ministry of Energy and Energy Companies allowed the winter to pass almost without shutdown. This was stated by the chairman of the Subcommittee of the Verkhovna Rada on Energy Security Victoria Grib.
“Ukraine has successfully passed the winter of 2024-2025 without significant power outages, despite all the forecasts for long blackouts up to 20 hours a day. This was made possible by the coordinated work of power companies, international partners and the Ministry of Energy,” she wrote.
The mushroom stressed that the power system stood despite regular attacks.
She explained that timely repair campaigns and commissioning of additional capacities, including renewable energy, were allowed to provide stable power supply.
“Energy worked daily on the verge of possible, promptly restoring damaged objects. International support was also a key factor – our partners helped not only financially but also technologically,” Grib said.
Earlier, energy Minister Herman Galushchenko stated that the power system can withstand the load and continues to work through the dedicated work of each energy.
