Which politicians and public figures do Ukrainians trust the most: survey resultsIn particular, the mayor of Kharkiv Igor Terekhov and Mykhailo Fedorov have high levels of trust / photo – ua.depositphotos.comAmong politicians and socio-political figures, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi has the highest trust ratings, and among defense figures, Ukrainians have the best opinion of the former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.

This is stated in the results of a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, within the framework of which a list of 17 political, socio-political and military figures was formed.

Thus, among the politicians and socio-political figures from the list, Zelenskyi has the highest trust indicators, who is trusted by 62%, and not trusted by 34%. Accordingly, the trust-distrust balance is +28%.

The mayor of Kharkiv Igor Terekhov also has high levels of trust (44% trust and 23% do not trust, the balance – +21%), Mykhailo Fedorov – at the time of the survey – the Minister of Digital Transformation (38% trust and 26% do not trust, the balance – +12%) and public figure Serhii Prytula (46% trust and 41% do not trust, the balance – +5%).

“All other politicians and social and political figures from the list have a negative balance, that is, they are not trusted more than they are trusted,” KMIS noted.

At the same time, in the list of figures from the field of defense, everyone has a positive trust-distrust balance.

“Respondents have the best opinion of V. Zaluzhnyi (72% trust, 21% do not trust, and the balance is +51%) and K. Budanov (70% trust, 19% do not trust, and the balance is +51%),” sociologists note.

Next comes the commander of the Third Army Corps, Andriy Biletsky, who is trusted by 45%, distrusted by 13%, and the balance, respectively, is +32%. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrsky is trusted by 46%, 40% do not trust him, so the balance is +6%.

Reference. KMIS conducted its own all-Ukrainian public opinion survey on January 9-14. 601 citizens of Ukraine over the age of 18 were interviewed by the method of telephone interviews based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers in all regions of Ukraine (territory controlled by the government of Ukraine).

Formally, under normal circumstances, the statistical error of such a sample (with a probability of 0.95 and taking into account the design effect of 1.3) would not exceed 5.3% for indicators close to 50%, 4.6% for indicators close to 25%, 3.2% for indicators close to 10%, and 2.4% for indicators close to 5%.

What Ukrainians think about Trump’s presidencyAs UNIAN reported, an earlier KMIS survey showed that 74% of surveyed Ukrainians continue to believe that Donald Trump’s presidency in the US is bad for Ukraine.

In addition, 55% of Ukrainians continue to believe that Europe is seriously helping Ukraine and wants the war to end on fair terms.
