At a meeting with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the heads of the National Anti -Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, the Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor’s Office and the Security Service of Ukraine expressed their comments on the law, which was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine yesterday, July 22. This was stated by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko at a briefing today.
“The leaders of the SAP and NABU said that they were not satisfied with this bill and they believe that they need to make changes and return certain powers and rights. The SBU head was also dissatisfied with some norms,” Kravchenko said.
According to the Prosecutor General, critical remarks were from the head of the SAP and the SBU, in particular, regarding the provisions of the bill concerning searches during investigative actions. In response, the President asked everyone to prepare his comments on the law, says Kravchenko.
“We have agreed that each of the heads of law enforcement agencies prepares its objections, dissatisfaction and will submit them to the President. So we agreed,” the Prosecutor General said.

Today, July 23, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with the heads of law enforcement and anti -corruption bodies and commented on the latest changes in the legislation on the work of these agencies.
He noted that criminal proceedings should not last for years without legal sentences, and those who work against Ukraine should not feel comfortable and not feel what the inevitability of punishment is.
