Volunteers who are not mobilized and have been trained will be involved in the GPP.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense, the main task of such groups would be to counteract air threats, including shock unmanned aircraft (UAV) of the enemy.
It is noted that the key purpose of the project is to create an effective mechanism for identifying, maintaining and neutralizing air threats, as well as involving prepared and motivated citizens in the performance of air defense tasks in the conditions of increasing enemy activity. Groups of air protection will be formed on a territorial principle. They will be subordinate to the commanders of the territorial defense forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and on the issues of completion of the Tasks of the Air Force – the Command of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces.
The Ministry of Defense informed that volunteers who are not mobilized and have been prepared in the GPP will be involved in the GPP. They will be able to use percussion unmanned aerial vehicles, manned aircraft, personal shooting weapons, radio electronic struggle, and artificial intelligence systems.
The document also provides for the possibility of using private manned aircraft in the air defense system. The legal mechanism for their involvement is first regulated: temporary registration procedures are simplified, and the terms were reduced to 10 days (earlier such registration took 2 to 6 months for state aviation ships).
“To this day, there were no legal grounds for attracting private aircraft to perform air defense tasks, despite the fact that conscious citizens have long been offering their equipment and their participation in the reflection of the enemy’s air attacks. This step will enhance the possibilities of anti -air defense in the conditions of growing use by the enemy.”
In addition, the ministry added that participants of air protection groups will have the social guarantees provided for servicemen, including cash, benefits and insurance payments.
Russia’s most dangerous weapon for UkraineAs reported by UNIAN, Aviation expert Konstantin Krivolap stated that the greatest threat to Ukraine during the attacks is now pointed out by Russian “Iskanders” and “Shahda”, because the enemy has a large number of such weapons. According to him, in the case of “daggers” the possibilities of Russia are limited. The aggressor also has big problems with carriers for such rockets.
“The topic with winged missiles, I attribute them to a lesser degree of danger. Here is the” Isanders “and” Shahda “in such quantities where our air defense does not have power to destroy them, it is so,” Krivolap said.
