He said this during an interview with a propaganda journalist Tair Carlson.
“He was an artist, a vaudeville.
Bessent also criticized the President’s advisers, saying that they did not give him good advice.
“I believe that some government officials around him and the government are very good. But I think some people do not give him the best advice with him that his advisers are not perfect,” the minister said.
At the same time, speaking of a mineral agreement in Ukraine, he again stressed that it is not an attempt to hang debt to Ukraine, but an “economic partnership”, favorable for both countries.
“The US will not receive money from it if Ukraine does not receive money,” said Bessent.
At the same time, he said that people who “run their hand at the cashier” could be dissatisfied with this agreement.
“Because we will control the flow of money. This is the reason for the problems,” he explained.

“First, it will make the United States and Ukraine partners closer. Second, it will be a signal to the Russian leadership that the United States does not throw Ukraine. Third, it will show the American people that we have economic interest and that we have not only given these huge grants.
