“I have appointed Oleksandr Kubrakov as my advisor on public grounds. His experience in the positions of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure, and head of Ukravtodor is important and will help in improving the supply and logistics system in the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Umyerov notes.
The minister is confident that his state and practical experience will contribute to increasing the efficiency of defense processes and strengthening our defense capability.
What else is known about KubrakovAs UNIAN reported, on May 9, 2024, the Verkhovna Rada registered draft resolution No. 11248 on the dismissal of Oleksandr Kubrakov from the post of Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction – Minister of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine. The draft resolution was registered by a group of People’s Deputies, in particular the head of the “Servant of the People” faction, David Arahamia.
In May, People’s Deputy from the Servant of the People Vitaly Bezgin said that the Servant of the People faction supported the position that it is almost impossible to manage infrastructure issues and issues of regional policy/decentralization at the same time.
Bezgin noted that the year’s experience showed that regional policy was not a priority, and this directly harms the European integration of Ukraine. He noted that the “Servant of the People” faction admitted that a little more than a year ago it made a mistake, because one department cannot cover the entire range of tasks that were previously covered by the entire ministry, so an executive body is needed to give decentralization a new lease of life.
Then the ministry headed by Kubrakov was divided into two, but he did not get a position in either of them.
