Students will study modern military technologies / UNIAN collage, photo of the Armed Forces General StaffUkrainian students will now be taught the skills in managing FPV-Dron. The corresponding decision has been made and already implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
According to the press service of the department, the updated list of training tools and equipment that is required for teaching the subject “Protection of Ukraine” in schools has already been approved. This list from now on contains “FPV drones simulators with computers” as well as “drones for practical training”.
In addition, the list of training tools and equipment will also include:
- interactive laser shooting simulators;
- tablets for training;
- modern multimedia equipment (without clarification, which is meant);
- mannequins for teaching students first aid and resuscitation, bleeding stops and other tactical medicine training;
- updated helmets and bulletproof vests;
- gas masks, chemical protection agents;
- radio stations for studying the basics of communication.
“Updated equipment will allow you to teach students and students of domedic care skills that save lives, prepare them for the use of modern technologies in the field of security, develop critical thinking and resistance to misinformation, form practical skills for emergency situations,” the Ministry reports.
The department also emphasizes that the school subject “Protection of Ukraine” was “dramatically” updated last year. Instead of “Formal Mushtra” students now undergo “intensive practical trainings” lasting 6-8 hours in “specially equipped cells”.
