“Ukraine will definitely coordinate its sanctions with the sanctions of its partners, in particular with regard to Russia’s aviation infrastructure,” Zelenskyy said in his evening address.
The two decrees published on the website of the head of state refer to the application of sanctions for 10 years against 15 individuals and more than a hundred legal entities.
Among the legal entities against which sanctions are being introduced, there are, in particular, Russian airlines, airports, and oil and gas companies. Among individuals, in particular, the Russian-controlled head of Sevastopol in occupied Crimea.
Both decrees enter into force on November 12.
Last month, according to the decision of the National Security Council, sanctions were introduced against “those who betrayed Ukraine” and Russia’s military production, the president reported.
Among the legal entities against which the NSDC imposed sanctions are Russian and Chinese companies, including the state corporation “Rostech” and several enterprises in the aviation industry.
In particular, the lawyer Tetiana Montyan, who is suspected in Ukraine of justifying Russian aggression, and judges who work in the occupied territories came under personal sanctions.
