Ukraine has signed a long-term agreement on the supply of gas with the United States, – Ministry of Energy

This was reported in the Ministry of Energy.

“During the Ministerial meeting of the Partnership for Transatlantic Energy Cooperation (P-TEC), the Naftogaz Group and the Greek company ATLANTIC-SEE LNG TRADE SA signed a memorandum on the future regular supplies of American LNG to Ukraine through Greek gas terminals and the Vertical Corridor,” they said.

According to the Minister of Energy Svitlana Grynchuk, the long-term partnership covers the horizon until 2050. It is important that this will make it possible to gradually implement new strategic projects, in particular, to ensure stable long-term supplies of LNG for Ukraine, to integrate our infrastructure into logistics routes to Europe and to create a sustainable system of supply and storage of American gas.

“I thank the partners from the USA and Greece for their cooperation. We are laying a new foundation in transatlantic cooperation with partners and taking another step for Ukraine’s long-term energy stability and new opportunities,” the minister said.

LNG sales in the worldThe export of liquefied natural gas from the Russian Federation in January-October 2025 decreased by 3.4% compared to the previous year. And this despite the record volume of deliveries in October, in particular to China.
