This is stated in the Presidential Decree Volodymyr Zelensky, who introduced the relevant decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine on “synchronization of sanction pressure” on Russia.

The text of this decision states that it was made “in order to achieve the most rigid consequences for the Russian Federation for the criminal and unprovoked war against Ukraine, a further tangible limitation of the military-industrial potential of the aggressor state.”

For this purpose, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Security Service, together with the National Bank, must ensure full implementation in the jurisdiction of Ukraine restrictive measures (sanctions) approved by international partners.

It is noted that restrictive measures (sanctions) approved by partner states must be synchronized in the jurisdiction of Ukraine by submitting them for consideration and approval by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine not later than the 15th day after the entry into force of the relevant decision of the partner state or the unification of states.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Foreign Intelligence Service, together with the Office of the Prosecutor General, are instructed to ensure synchronization with the European Union, the United States of America and other states of restrictive measures (sanctions) applied by Ukraine in connection with the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.

Sanctions against RussiaAs UNIAN reported, at yesterday the EU summit, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky urged partners to set a ceiling of prices for Russian oil at $ 30 per barrel. According to Zelensky, sanctions against Russia remain one of the most effective tools to limit its aggression.

The Head of State stressed the need to approve the European Union of a powerful 18th package of sanctions against Russia, in which the key goals should be Russian trade in oil, its shadow tanker fleet, Russian banks and other financial instruments, as well as supply chains that provide equipment or details for weapons.

Earlier, on June 19, Zelensky reported that Ukraine synchronizes sanctions with partners and extended pressure on the Russian energy sector.
