According to the UNIAN correspondent, Igor Zhovkva, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine, said this during the International Forum of the Crimean Platform Expert Network.
Zhovkva stressed that it was from the occupation of Crimea that Russian aggression began. This aggression is evidenced by today’s massive Russian attack by Ukraine rockets and drones.
“What happened today, unfortunately, is not the first precedent on the part of the aggressor and, unfortunately, is not the last. It is the response of the leader of the aggressor country to all these international efforts that have recently been made by President of Ukraine, the President of the United States of America, the President of France and other European leaders to bring a long -term.”
He called the Russian night massive attack cynical, vile, cruel and terrible. He also urged the world to react.
“Today we have to hear a clear reaction of the world, every leader who is on the side of good, every representative of international organizations, representatives of those countries who are still trying to be mediators,” Zhovkva added.
The deputy head of the OP noted that Ukraine wants the world not to be silent as, unfortunately, in the vast majority silent in 2014:

As Zhovkva added, this year will take place the fifth summit of the Crimean platform at the level of the leaders of the states. There is a preparation for this summit. President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky has already sent invitations.
“We want the number of participants to become greater. We need to expand the presence of participants in the Crimean platform at the expense of other regions of the world, not only European and North American, but also Latin American, Asian, African,” Zhovkva added.
In turn, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mariana Betz noted that without recognizing that the territorial integrity of any state should be observed within the limits of internationally recognized borders, there will be no stable peace around the world.
“The issue of Crimea is a central question. It has begun Russian aggression, and, Russian aggression will end with the de -occupation and liberation of Crimea,” Betz noted.
