This step is part of the President’s promise to restructure the Armed Forces mission. Previously, this name – the “Ministry of War” – was used for over 150 years – until the end of World War II.
This expected step emphasizes Trump’s desire to rebuild the army according to his goals – to give it a more aggressive image by demonstrating combat capabilities, writes The New York Times.
Trump tries to show the power of the army, not “wokeness” [модна ідеологія про “надмірну політкоректність”]which he and the Defense Minister Pete Hegset are considered the cause of the fall of the morale for Baiden. It often reminds that the US played a key role in the world wars and says that this achievement is given too little attention.
