The US president has claims to all Europe, Taras Zagorodniy said.

This opinion in an interview with UNIAN was expressed by Taras Zagorodniy, a political scientist, a governing partner of the national anti -crisis group.
“And here is the reason in the Europeans. They begin to say that Trump does not follow sanctions. And the US, on the contrary, accuse Europe of buying oil and gas for 25 billion annually. Did Trump know that Orban took Russian oil? Of course, he knew. Zagorodniy.
The political scientist noted that he is indifferent that it is done by individual countries, such as Hungary or Slovakia. Instead, the US President wants all Europe to stop trade with Russia.
“There is no point in being imported with Fitzo or Orban. He needs everyone to reduce the purchase of oil and gas in Russia. So I do not think that he will specifically press them. There is a European Commission, it is demanding a solution. There is nothing to do Trump, than how to put a special.”
The expert explained that the claims for the purchase of oil and gas in Russia began not after the start of a full -scale war. According to the political scientist, it lasts from Trump’s first presidential term.
“Then Trump came and read the Germans that they buy Russian cheap gas, receive a competitive advantage for their products. And then they come to Americans and say, protect us from Russia. Not wanting to pay for the defense,” Zagorodniy explained.
Russian oil and gas: Important newsEarlier, Trump is dissatisfied with Europe, which continues to buy Russian oil and gas, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said. He noted that this concerns Hungary and Slovakia.
The President also stated that in the near future European experts would meet with American colleagues to discuss ways to stop gas and oil supply from Russia to the EU.
