He stated this at the celebrations on the occasion of Cadet Day on the 195th anniversary of the beginning of the November Uprising. The head of the Office of the Polish President Zbigniew Bogutski posted the video on the X social network.

According to the President of Poland, historical events are also a lesson for modern Poland and Poles.

“There are no agreements with Muscovites either in the 19th century, in the 20th century, or in the 21st century. There are only lies, the desire to take lives and the desire to destroy. This is a lesson that we all must learn, deeply believing in Polish lieutenants, officers and generals,” Navrotskyi said.

It is worth noting that the November Uprising of 1830-1831 was a national liberation uprising of Poles and Lithuanians against the Russian Empire, the goal of which was the restoration of an independent Polish state.

Navrotsky canceled the meeting with OrbanEarlier, UNIAN reported that after Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban officially visited Moscow, Polish President Karol Nawrocki decided to cancel his planned visit to Hungary. He stated that he consistently supports the search for real ways to end the war in Ukraine, which was started by Russia. The head of the Bureau of International Policy in the President’s Administration, Marcin Pshidach, noted that the President of Poland will attend the summit of the Presidents of the Visegrad Group in Esztergom.

We also wrote that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiga, called the statement of the President of Poland to cancel the meeting with the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, a “good decision”. Sibiga noted that this decision demonstrates Poland’s principled position and its strong sense of solidarity, as well as commitment to the unity and security of Europe at a key moment.
