This was written by the Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko, referring to the data of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
He noted that Dnipropetrovsk region is going through extremely difficult times after the Russian terror – they are trying to leave people without vital resources – light, water and heat. According to him, more than 1,500 “Points of Invincibility” and tents for heating have been deployed in the region.
Klymenko said that at the same time in the western regions of Ukraine bad weather, complicated traffic on the roads and ice are raging.
“Rescuers and policemen are helping drivers to get out of snowdrifts. Almost a hundred police units and rescuers of the State Emergency Service with all-terrain vehicles are involved in eliminating the consequences of the natural disaster,” he said.
“According to the hydrometeorological center, difficult weather conditions will last for another week. Now it is especially important to follow safety rules, be careful and not go on long trips without an urgent need,” Klymenko emphasized.
