The Minister of Transport, who died in strange circumstances, could become a coin in the attempt of the Russian elites to shift responsibility for the breakthrough of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kurshchyna.

As the governor of Starovoit was responsible for the construction of military fortifications in Kurshchyna – lines of the so -called “teeth of the dragon”. Although he then moved to the post of Minister of Transport, but in the Kursk region there are many people close to him. In particular, he contacted closely with his successor Smirnov and director of the company “Corporation of Kursk region” Volodymyr Lukin, who was responsible for the construction of fortifications.
“De facto it is a shadow feeder, a commercial organization to cover the shadow schemes of budget funds, opaque distribution of land, lobbying and support for friendly projects,” Shumanov wrote.
But after a break in the Armed Forces in the Kursk region it turned out that the “teeth of the dragon” could not restrain the Ukrainian offensive. Shumanov writes that Russian military, security forces and officials began to shift responsibility for it. And as a result, the security forces made the military and civilian administration guilty. In particular, people who were arrested by the old people, Smirnov and Lukin gave testimony to him.
He writes that Starovoit was not the last in the corruption chain of theft of the Russian budget. It is possible that after his arrest, he would testify to his patrons, talk about interaction with Rothenbergs or other federal players.
“This level of risk can potentially cause murder with suicide staging. The plot with the death of Starovoit is similar to the history of death of top executives of Russian private and state oil and gas companies. They grasp the weapon, or they suddenly stop the heart and they die in their offices.
Schumanov notes that such versions can be built only at the level of conspiracyrology, and does not exclude that Oldovoit really committed his hands for personal motives. But in this case, he also writes, reliable evidence that is not and will not be, as in the case of mysterious deaths of top executives of Russian oil and gas companies.
